This gown was created as part of my 2018 collection of wedding gowns. These gowns were shown at Lancaster House Hotel to raise money for Cancer Research UK, who do an immense amount of research at the University in Lancaster.
During the day, We were lucky enough to work with a wonderful Photographer called Kyla J Bryne, who created some stunning images of some of my collection. The gown is a mix of satin faille and lace in a gold and silver mix, the shoulder detail was a mix of lace and bespoke flower detail which cascades onto the bodice of the gown. This dress also has a high side split onto the hip. The gown is finished with a hand stitched lace detail.
As one of my favourite gowns from the show, I thought it would be a great place to start in my personal portfolio of sketched dresses, so people can see how the fashion pose looks, and how the incredible flower detail can be replicated in the final illustration.
